Well... with school being out, Tom finally has time to get some projects done. So far we have fixed up the front flower bed, which actually involved reworking the sprinklers and replacing the pot. My teracotta pot of 4 years completely fell apart when he lifted it up. We also fixed up the sprinkler system because we had a faulty valve. We have a hefty list of projects to get to work on now. Some of them are yard projects, some are house projects, one is in our basement rental, and we have a bit of painting to do. A lot of it is in preparation for possibly selling our house if we finally get jobs. Some of it is more annual, like the garden and waterfall and soem general outside cleanup. Jackson has loved to help Daddy too...

We have also developed a new bedtime routine with the kids to help them go to bed easier. It involves them gettign ready for bed and having 30 minutes "quiet time" to calm down. Then each kid picks a book every night and me reading to them. Then we finish by reading goodnight moon and saying a prayer. Usually one of the kids says it, but sometimes they don't cooperate. I recently ordered a Book of Mormon stories board book to add to the routine for now. In a year or so we will switch to the official illustrated Book of Mormon.
