First day of preschool

Well,Jackson started preschool today.  I was one anxious mommy.  The open house went horribly.  He didn't want to sit still or do anything but play with the things that were off limits.  To my surprise, they said he did well today.  But maybe they were lying to me?  Anyhow, in honor of his first day of preschool and his first day of school ever, I took a lot of pictures.  Ready?

He did well but was SO happy to see us when he picked him up.

Belle was the one who had trouble.  She kicked and screamed the whole way to the car and periodically asked for Jackson until she fell asleep.  They say they give the kids 2 weeks to adjust before they even bother telling us how they are really doing, so I will report back in 2 weeks or so...

In other news.... I am currently writing a scientific article and studying for my qual exam, so the light at the end of the tunnel is finally showing its face!

And Disney/cruise trip is in 5 weeks....yay!
