Just keep swimming

So this is the month for swimming.  Jackson is in lessons and we are using our water park passes heavily during the 2 weeks between Tom's semesters.  He starts school 2 weeks before Jackson even does.  Anywho...swim lessons.  They made Jackson's issues even more apparent to us and kind of made me want to cry.  However, we saw some improvement on Day 2 (technically day 3 except for the mishap that caused us to miss the first day).  He still cried a LOT and didn't do everything he was asked, but there were more smiles this time.  Hopefully tomorrow shows even more improvement.  then he has 4 more days next week.

Today was our first day at the water park.  The kids had a lot of fun.  There are only 4 rides the kids aren't allowed on.  We let Jackson try 2 of the big slides.  They also loved the kid slides and the wave pool and the lazy river.  I got fried because I sprayed everyone else with sunscreen and forgot myself.  Boo...  We are going back tomorrow and I won't forget this time!

Now that we know what we are doing, we are going again tomorrow...I'm sure I will take more pictures.  After the park, we ate lunch and rested.  Then it was time for Jackson's second swim lesson.  Today he had a melt down and I had to take him out and talk to him, but after that he did well.  there were tears but he did well.  Hopefully tomorrow will be even better.
