Swing of Things

Now that Jackson has been off the lights for several days we are getting in the swing of things. He is a great baby so far, but we are struggling at night right now. It could be worse, I'm sure, but at night he suddenly wants to eat about every hour, keeping me up all night. However, I learned that I can get a little extra sleep by staying in the rocker after feeding him because it wakes him up when I put him down, so I just nap in the chair after feeding him when I need it. He loves his car seat and bouncy seat though and he likes to cuddle in bed with Mom and Dad. He also loves the boppy. He sleeps in it alot. Funny story about the boppy. Tom put him in it last night when I said "Your turn!" and he said he immediately started trying to find something to suck on. Apparently he has connected it with feeding time already. Too funny!

Anyways, we have been pretty busy around here, both with the baby and with home improvement projects. I'm really sad that Tom has to go back to work in an hour. I will really miss him, especially since we plan for him to start picking up overtime with Grandma coming into town. I'm so spoiled to have such an amazing husband. He has been so good to me. But enough mushiness... Grandma Jackson gets here in 3 days! We can't wait to see her!!!
