Welcome Baby Jackson!
Well, we came in at 5am yesterday, but I wasn't induced until 7am. The doctor finally came in at 11am to break my water and within a couple hours I was ready for my epidural. It wasn't until 7pm or so that I was ready to push, which lasted forever because we have a BIG baby!! After 2.5 hours of pushing he still hadn't crowned and they said at 3hrs we would jump to C-section so I was upset that it would all be a waste and crying. But we made it and he was born around 10pm May 13, 2009. Our BIG boy, Jackson Rodney Butterfield, weighed in at exactly 10 lbs and is 24 inches long. We are both doing well now, though my 3rd degree tear is in quite a bit of pain now. We will be here until tomorrow evening, so I hope to update again, but for now, here are some pictures.

ReplyDeleteHe is so cute...I am sooo excited to swee him soon. You guys did great. Jacque that was not a fun labor, but look what you got!!!! I still can't believe how big and grown he looks.
