Baby News

So at last week's checkup was perfect. I got a new vitamin to take for my crazy wrist pain and I am allowed to take Claritin now, which is great because something nasty seems to be blooming lately. We took the first half of our childbirth class today. It was nice because I got lots of massages from Tom during the part about relaxation and stuff. :-) But now I am torn about pain meds during birth. We are still discussing that issue... I'm also more nervous for the lack of modesty and the ickiness of recovery (oh and the needles) than I am for the pain of labor. Call me crazy...

In other news, the reason I haven't written lately is because we were out of town for 4 days. We went to Idaho to visit family and had a little baby shower. We got lots of cute stuff! I won a game where you feel paper sacks with baby things in them and guess what is inside. The sad thing is that I wont with a whopping 3/7 items identified correctly. We also had fun hanging out with my grandparents, aunt, and cousin. We saw Bolt - it's cute. It was really nice to get to sleep in and we were quite lazy about it. Grandma also sent us home with about a month's worth of food storage. She just kept going and going.

So I am working on the diaper bag today. I am washing my favorite clothes and blankets and loading up the diaper bag as the baby's hospital bag. There are still a few things I need to get for the bag - kleenex, lotion, pacifier pod, oh yeah and DIAPERS! We really need to get on that one so they can get here and I can wash them. Anyways, yeah....
