We had a pretty fun first Christmas together. Actually, we are naughty and haven't taken our decorations down yet because we are too busy working on the house. But back to Christmas... we got up early(ish) together and took turns opening presents. Even Sasha go to join in. She got special food, toys and a pillow/bed that matches our living room. After we opened presents we made breakfast together, got dressed and went out for Christmas with his family. It was a long day with lots of people, but we had fun.

Since then, we have been busy with family and renovations. We pulled together the guest room, but it still needs some furniture and stuff. We started the guest bathroom this week and we did a little in the kitchen (window and lights). I hope to get all the boxes unpacked and organized into the kitchen this week, as well as put a desk in the guest bedroom to organize our papers and clear off the bookshelf for books. We also got our nieces to help us clear all the old owner's junk out of our garage to haul to the dump and organize our stuff so I can park in there.......next step.... install a garage door opener. I'm also going to start folding/hanging/organizing our clothes, so we don't have to keep getting dressed from a pile of laundry on the floor. So much work!!

It is nice to be on vacation though, even if it doesn't feel like vacation.....
Very cute! Looks like a fun Christmas. I like the guest room too. I am going to be very excited when we have a whole house to decorate!
