Back to School

So it is back to school time, with just one day of freedom remaining. Unfortunately we will be spending it organizing the kitchen (hopefully), because it was my goal to have it done before school started back up. That entails finding the last few kitchen boxes from the "baby's room", pulling everything out of the cupboards and pantry and putting it all back organized and I want Tom's help. We made alot of progress on the main floor bath though. It is all painted and the vanity is done. We also enameled the tub today. No more brown!! I still have to finish the cupboard doors and we have to rehang the mirror and stuff like that. The paint needs some touch up and the tub needs some sanding and another coat, but it looks so much better than the 70s brown bathroom we started with! We are going with a beach theme. I'll post pictures when we get farther, but the before pictures are in the remodeling album somewhere. Look for a brown bathroom.

I realized I forgot to talk about our New Year's party. We had Tom's family over and played Monopoly Tropical Tycoon with DVD and it was really fun. We also watched some BluRay. When the new year came, we did poppers, which scare me so I did one and then went to see where the cat went. When we started counting down, she ran up the stairs. I found her under our bed, in the very middle where nobody can reach her, literally shaking in fear. Poor thing thought her world was ending with all the popping sounds downstairs. Too funny!

Add all this remodeling and back to school and bills to the pregnancy and I have been so emotional and stressed lately. I seriously cried today for almost no reason. I just feel stressed with no single reason, just life. Tom looks at me like I'm crazy sometimes, but he is pretty good to me about it. When I was sick of painting he picked up where I left off and said we could finish later. I love him!

I know this doesn't go with this post, but here is our Christmas card picture (we are naughty and have a ton to send out and only sent 2 so far)
