Chicago on the Fly

This last week we drove to Chicago on back in a matter of 5 days (it would have been 4 if snow hadn't closed the road and stranded us in Wyoming).  We were bringing Grandma Butterfield her new car driving her old sad dying car back to sell it for her.  We did find time to take the subway downtown and see a few sights though.  We hope to return at the end of her mission and see some church history locations on the way home.

Seeing the bean in Millennium Park was one of my personal priorities.  It's a gorgeous work of art.

See the kids and I reflected there?

All 4 of us looking at the bean

CUTE FAMILY, huh?

This is the view looking up from underneath the middle of the bean.  Trippy, huh?

The kids really enjoyed riding all the trains and buses in Chicago

I got a shot of this street sign with old Chicago architecture for my cousin Madison

They were little goobers...
