Reuions Galore

Well, we are finally back and returning to our regular schedule after 2 consecutive family reuions, both Jackson reuions.  First was the much anticipated reunion with my parents and brothers in Myrtle Beach.  It is our semiannual, or is it biannual..... every other year is biannual, right?  So it was our biannual Myrtle Beach trip to the family time share condo.  It is a very nice set up and each couple/Ben gets their own room with a real bed.  Our kids got a couch bed.  We had LOADS of fun.  We spent many hours on the beach and in the lazy river.  We also went to our traditional buffet at the Original Benjamin's and went to Medieval Times and Pirate Journey.  Both were amazingly fun.  I think the kids liked the Pirates better.  There was also the golf and shopping day.  Jackson got to golf this year but I don't think the boys took any pictures.  Oh, and we can't foget how almost everyone got sick.  Fun times...ready for a photo bomb?

Their special chairs went with us

After that we came home for a few days so I could work and Tom could go to class.  Then we drove to Idaho and spent a couple days with Grandma Hansen.  Dad was gone a lot helping his parents with yard work and other projects.  After a few days we drove to La Grande, OR for Dad's dad's family reunion.  It was "camping".  Aunt Sandra told us the cabins were awful so we brought tents.  But we got there first and the cabins were pretty nice, so we claimed a couple.  They were wood frame with a wood floor, wood bunks with no padding, and a wood table.  The bathrooms were in the "lodge" with the kitchen.  It really wasn't so bad and it was only two nights.  Ready for the next photo bomb?

Our family was in charge so we did lots of cooking, cleaning, and activities planning

Tom and I were in charge of the auction/raffle that is used to fund the next reunion
