On Saturday we did an egg hunt at a park in Herriman. Sunday we got baskets from the Easter bunny before church and went to Grandma's for dinner and an egg hunt after church. Here are all our pictures and commentary from Sunday.
Jackson started out the day crying, so we sat him on the stairs until he calmed down
After he calmed down we sent him into the living room to find the baskets.
He was still a little grouchy when he started going through his basket.
He finally cheered up when we gave him his Aero lamb (super yummy candy bar if you have never tried it). I think it will be our new tradition.
Belle's basket just has this fun motion activated light-up ball that plays music and some Gerber yogurt melts. She really likes it.
\It took Jackson a while to eat his lamb.
Belle played with her ball while Jackson ate his chocolate.
She was so happy with her ball.
Jackson eventually discovered the little farm animals in his basket.
He played with the farm animals for a bit.
He didn't pay much attention to the rest of the candy in his basket, or the movie, or the hot wheels car.
Then he found sister's ball and lost all interest in his own goodies.
This was the best picture I could get of them in their Easter clothes and Jackson kept trying to get her off of him.
Belle rode a rocking horse at Grandma's house.
I will post later about the stuff we bought at the after Easter sales for next year.
Did you all have a good Easter?
