This is our real tree. We put the nice ornaments on it and our collection is still really small, so it looks awfully bare in this picture. I'm sure it will get bigger after the after Christmas sales this year. Funny story....we were going to put it on the other side of the TV under the balcony (which has an 8ft ceiling). The tree was labeled as 5-7 feet, so we weren't worried, but it turned out to be over 8 feet tall, so we had to rearrange the living room and put it in the corner. The star is so high you can't see it from the other side of the beam. And if you look close, there are a few presents under the tree.... I only wrapped presents for Jackson so far. He got the colorful glittery paper this year since he loves sparkly things.

This is our fake tree, which looks so sad in comparison to the real tree. We put our sentimental ornament son it. Each year we buy a new one to represent Tom and I as a couple and one for each kid. We mark it with the year and add it to the collection for this tree. It also has Tom's train under it. Jackson will sit on the floor and watch the train for quite a while. He is still learning to leave the ornaments and train alone though....

This is our mantle. Tom and I got our stockings our first year together and bought Jackson one that kind of sort of matched after his first Christmas. The little stocking says "Baby's First Christmas" and was Jackson's last year. We anticipate using it for Annabelle this year. Keep your fingers crossed for us....
