For Mom's last day in town, we went to the zoo while Tom was in class. We went without Tom because it was the hottest day of the week and we didn't want to melt away and die. Jackson and Ben played on the playground a bit because, for once, it wasn't crowded.
We thought he would get a kick out of climbing in the egg shell, but he hated it....
He decided to be independent for quite a while and led us around the zoo by dragging Uncle Ben around. He needed frequent hydration breaks, as seen below.
He loved the baby elephant. They are his favorite part of his favorite movie... Jungle Book.
They were all cute and matchy walking through the zoo.
He didn't much care for the lion either, but it is harder to tell in this picture.
Just before he decided he was too tired to walk anymore he helped push the stroller for a bit.
I didn't take pictures, but for being a good boy at the zoo, I bought him a cute water bottle and Uncle Ben bought him a cute wooden safari animals puzzle.
