Today was stake temple day and Tom and I wanted to go. We are naughty and haven't been since the wedding, so we thought we should participate somehow. Unfortunately the session was at 2:40, which doesn't work with Tom's work schedule. However, they needed people for sealings at 8am. We decided to do that, and fortunately Tom got alot of sleep at work last night. However, we were running late and all I got for breakfast was a glass of milk on the go. We got there and after some time managed to join a room to do sealings. It was really hot in there and I started feeling funny. I thought I was ok though, so I went ahead and took a turn doing sealings with Tom. Halfway through the second one I started feeling faint. I sat out through the rest and they brought me a glass of water. When it was all over, I stood up to leave and almost passed out. Security came up and I was given juice and more water and then wheeled around in a wheelchair. I felt so silly, but I really didn't feel well. I still feel better laying down right now.
The outcome of the whole incident was that Tom decided my blood sugar has become too big of a problem and went and bought a glucose meter. After I ate, it was fine, but I cried and screamed and kept my hands from him for a good 10 minutes before finally letting him poke me. When I finally let him, it didn't even hurt but he set ti up wrong and it didn't work, so we had to do it again and that time he did something weird and it hurt....BAD! I hope we don't need to use it very often....
